Dog Events in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide | 18 to 20 September 2026
Spring has arrived properly this weekend, with blossom walks, a dog-friendly cinema session, puppy yoga, a pub crawl, a puppy picnic and more markets than any sensible dog could sniff in one weekend.
There is also a full competition calendar. Melbourne has scent work, agility and conformation, Brisbane has a packed weekend of shows plus rally and obedience, and Adelaide hosts its state obedience and rally championships.
Competition events are generally for entered dogs. Only bring a pet dog as a spectator if the organiser confirms it is allowed. Puppy-yoga and puppy-cuddle sessions use dogs supplied by the organiser, so your own dog stays home.
