Dog Events in Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne | 23-25 October 2026
Some weekends are built for wandering around with a coffee and a dog on lead. A little light on (and a bit wet around the place) but still plenty to get involved in.
Brisbane has the broadest mix, from early markets and a Pride pet parade to Friday-night conformation and Saturday-evening agility. Melbourne leans towards rescue meet-and-greets, markets and dog sport, while Adelaide has a Halloween fundraiser alongside SprintDog and scent work.
Every listing below was checked against an original organiser, venue or governing-body source. Events with unresolved dates, access conditions or conflicting information have been left out.
Competition events are generally intended for entered dogs. Do not bring a pet dog as a spectator unless the organiser confirms it is permitted.

If your dog is coming with you, choose the event that suits the dog you actually have, not the one who behaves beautifully in your imagination. Crowds, music, heat and unfamiliar dogs can change the equation quickly.
Whichever way the weekend takes you, open the linked organiser page before leaving home for any weather changes, access updates or late adjustments to competition schedules.
