Dog Events in Melbourne, Brisbane & Adelaide | 7–9 August 2026
There is a lot happening in the dog world this weekend. Brisbane has the biggest program, with the Ekka, a greyhound fundraiser, a social walk and a packed schedule of breed shows and dog sports. Melbourne has dog-friendly markets, a full-day dog adventure and plenty happening at KCC Park, while Adelaide has markets, live music and several good competition options.
Every event below was checked against an original organiser, venue, council or governing-body source at the time of publication. Where several competitions are running at the same venue, we have grouped them together so you do not have to scroll through the same address 15 times.
Competition events are generally intended for entered dogs. Only bring a pet dog as a spectator if the organiser confirms it is allowed.
